Just north of Newark, DE, NVF is a 200 year old mill building located on the banks of White Clay Creek. Building number 5, located on the former National Vulcanized Fiber Site, was an active industrial facility from 1850 until the 1980s. Abandonment of this structure resulted in water and fire damage. DCI is responsible for the design, construction documents and construction administration for the conversion of this building into office space. The scope of the work included a total facade restoration, a new entrance core, new egress stair towers and all interior services.
