Design Collaborative, Inc., founded in 1979, has evolved from a small architectural firm known locally for its innovative, historic restorations into one of the State’s larger firms providing professional services for projects such as the $25 Million “Lincoln Tower/ Fire Station 5″ structure located in the Trolley Square area of Wilmington, Delaware.  Housed in the historic “Spruance House” on Delaware Avenue in Wilmington, DCI is a full service corporation offering complete architectural capabilities ranging from program feasibility through occupancy. DCI is proud of the reputation it has gained for delivering a unique, quality product on time and within budget.

The success that has been realized after years of service is due to emphasis on quality and performance by the professionals who represent the company.  With over 30 years of experience, the principals and founders of the firm, Lee Sparks, IV, AIA and Joseph T. Chickadel, AIA oversee each phase of development for small projects and for multi-million dollar structures for a diversity of clients throughout the region and beyond.

DCI has completed hundreds of design projects, many through a variety of repeat clients and client referrals. All require significant and specialized professional knowledge.  Whatever type or size project, our clients are assured that DCI will approach each with the same emphasis on quality, service and excellence.
